Read all about it – pupils in Oak Class at Mendlesham Primary School have been trying their hands at newspaper reporting.
On the back of a project about World War Two, the enthusiasic youngsters from Years 3 and 4 donned their reporting hats to write stories about evacuees in wartime Britain.
Pupils took part in role- playing interviews with those escaping the blitz before writing articles on their experiences.
Class teacher Tom Singleton said the chldren enjoyed taking on the role of reporter.He said: “We created a front page with the name of their newspaper, headlines, pictures and their reports.
“They really got into it.”
