Twelve young people who want to make a difference to their community have been fund raising for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Students from Thurston Community College are taking part in the National Citizen Service and the 16-year-olds have been working hard to raise awareness and funds for the charity which supports blind people.
This Sunday they are staging a a dog walk event at Brandon Country Park, walking six miles to support the guide dog charity.
They have already been raising money by bag packing at Bury St Edmunds Marks & Spencer and held a stall at a recent car boot sale at Woolpit.
They will complete their fund-raising with a two day bike ride starting at the Abbey Gardens travelling to Colchester, Bishops Stortford and Cambridgeshire before returning to Bury.
