Man charged with the murder of Mildenhall man Paul Bone as woman bailed

A 49-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Paul Bone in Mildenhall.

Police were called by the ambulance service to a property, in Pembroke Close, at about 12:50am on Friday, where Mr Bone, 40, of Trinity Avenue, Mildenhall, had received a stab wound.

Paramedics tended to Mr Bone but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post mortem was carried out and the cause of death has confirmed Mr Bone died as a result of a stab wound.

Andrew Turner, 49, of Pembroke Close, Mildenhall, was arrested and has subsequently been charged with murder.

He will remain in custody at the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre and appear at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

A 45-year-old woman from Mildenhall who was also arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on police bail and will return to the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre on March 18.
