A man charged with robbing a petrol station in Thetford last year has been released on court bail.

Paul Daniel Tyler allegedly robbed £100 from Nuns Bridges Filling Station, in Bury Road, Thetford, on October 15, 2013.

Tyler, 40, of Prior Stephen Way, Thetford, was arrested yesterday and appeared at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court today, represented by Dhaneshwar Sharma.

He was granted bail with the conditions not to go within 500 metres of the petrol station and not to contact the two prosecution witnesses in any way.

He will also have to report to Thetford Police Station, daily, between 12-2pm.

His next court appearance will be at Norwich Crown Court on May 15.
