A Bildeston man is to stand trial accused of three offences said to have been committed at the village’s Red Lion pub in December, last year.

At Ipswich Crown Court last Friday (June 6), Andrew Eccles, 23, of High Street, pleaded not guilty to two offences of assault causing actual bodily harm and one of being in possession of an offensive weapon.

Judge David Goodin told Eccles he would have to return to court in August to stand trial.
