Independent fashion retailer Javelin in Bury St Edmunds has won a major title in the prestigious Drapers Fashion Awards.
The Abbeygate Street shop has been named the Montique Womenswear Retailer of the year in the awards, beating a shortlist of seven other stores.
The evening was hosted by TV and radio presenter Lauren Lavern.
Drapers is the market leading fashion trade magazine. Its annual awards recognise the best in the fashion industruy across a range of categories.
Caroline Nodder, editor-in-chief of Drapers said: “We are delighted that Javelin is this year’s winner for the Womenswear Retailer of the Year.
“The judges felt top-level customer service combined with strong business acumen and a well-considered brand mix all contribute to the winner’s success.”
