A meeting between residents, councillors and the developer of a controversial housing project has been described as ‘positive’.
A representative from Flagship Housing attended a meeting of Barton Mills Parish Council to discuss concerns regarding plans to convert garages in Church Lane Close.
The garages will be converted into five affordable properties.
Parish Council chairman Robert Lewis said that it was ‘very positive’ that a dialogue had been established with Flagship.
Residents voiced concerns about the influx of traffic on the narrow access to the route when construction was ongoing.
Mr Lewis said Flagship had told those gathered it would conduct a traffic survey ahead of construction commencing to determine how construction traffic will be managed.
Flagship has said work is expected to commence in March 2014.
