Delicious sweet and savoury waffles in seasonal flavours will be the speciality of a new Bury St Edmunds cafe.
Cafe Waffle, in the Buttermarket, will also offer sandwiches, panninis and other snacks from Monday.
The delectable treats and barista coffee will be offered by husband and wife team Denise and Ian Richardson.
Denise said: “I went to Portugal a few years ago on holiday and there was a waffle shop. It always stuck in my mind, It seemed to be a hub for people to meet right across the age range.”
Denise and Ian have carefully researched ingredients to ensure they offer the best in taste and freshness.
Denise said: “We offer people an alternative. Good, quality, locally sourced, organic, fresh, food and good customer service.
Upstairs is further seating and a room that can be booked for business meetings, private meals or children’s parties.
The cafe will be open from 8am-7pm from Monday to Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sundays.
