Two more thefts have been linked to a police appeal after cars were targeted across Froest Heath overnight between January 9 and January 10.

Five thefts have now been reported.

The first theft took place in Highlands, Lakenheath, where protective clothing, an iPod Touch and iPod Nano were taken from a Honda Accord left insecure on a driveway.

The second theft took place in Scots Pine Court, Red Lodge, where specialist clothing and a bottle of perfume were stolen from an insecure Buick Lacrosse.

The third theft took place in Bridge Farm Close, Mildenhall, where an unlocked vehicle on a driveway was entered and a bag containing a cheque book taken from within.

The bag was later found by the victim behind an electricity box close to Worlington Street and Bridge Farm Close along with other items.

Following the police’s initial appeal last Friday two further thefts were reported in Red Lodge.

The first took place in Scots Pine Court where an insecure Volkswagen Passat was entered and Ray Ban and Prada sunglasses were stolen along with a gym holdall bag.

The second took place in Rosehip Avenue where an insecure Ford Mondeo was entered and a iPhone 5 and items of clothing were stolen.

Anyone able to assist with any information is asked to contact PC Luke Heffer at Mildenhall Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
