A two-day classic car run – through Fornham All Saints, Barrow, Bradfield Combust, Cockfield, Thurston, Tostock and Beyton – raised more than £370 for West Suffolk Hospital’s neonatal unit last weekend.

The event was held in memory of Sarah Aplin, who died from Swine Flu soon after giving birth in 2011, and ended with a car display at The White Horse, in Beyton, where Sarah’s parents are landlords.

Family friend Eamonn Harvey, who organised the event, said: “It was a very enjoyable event for all who took part and I’d like to thank all participants for their good humour and spirits. We all had lots of fun and raised money for a very worthwhile cause.”
