A former teacher and television personality facing charges of gross indecency and indecent assault has pleaded not guilty at Ipswich Crown court.
Simon Warr, 60, of Great West Road, Hounslow, is alleged to have committed five of the offences in Great Finborough between 1979 and 1984.
He faces three charges of gross indecency with a boy under the age of 14 and two charges of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 16.
Two more offences are alleged to have been committed in Holbrook from 1989 to 1994.
These include one offence of gross indecency with a boy under the age of 14 and one offence of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 16.
On Friday Warr pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
Warr has made numerous appearances on national television including BBC One’s The One Show and Channel 4’s That’ll Teach ‘Em
Judge Rupert Overbury told Warr that he would continue to be granted conditional bail until his trial which is due to take place in May.
The trial is expected to last for up to eight days.
