Claire Cowling hopes moving to a barn has given her enough space for all the facets of her business Thrive Floristry,
It began in her mother’s shop Fleur de Lys in Bury St Edmunds, but she was working from home until her move to Old Hall Barns, Pakenham.
She said: “I was originally looking at the smaller barn here, then I saw this and it’s perfect because there are so many different sides to my business.”
She now has a dedicated wedding room where brides can browse her portfolio of wedding flowers and buy or hire related items from containers to a ‘sweetie trolley’.
There is a boutique for gifts and homewares and a library of floral, garden, design and craft related books.
Claire added: “Part of the barn is an exclusive teaching area for my floral workshops – for both professionals and amateurs with a love of flowers – and as a venue for local, talented crafts people.”
