Police have linked the attempted theft of a miniature horse from Holywell Row to thefts of electric fencing, gardening equipment and tools in the Holywell Row area. Between March 6 and March 10 five crimes have been linked. An electric fence battery, four energisers, gardening equipment and tools were stolen.

Police have linked the attempted theft of a miniature horse from Holywell Row to thefts of electric fencing, gardening equipment and tools in the same area.

Between March 6 and March 10 five thefts and attempted thefts have been linked in the Holywell Row area.

Between 6pm on March 6 and 5.30am on March 7 a chain and lock were broken off a gate, in what police are treating as the attempted theft of a miniature horse.

The horse was later found running loose.

An electric fence battery and four electric fence energisers were stolen from two fields in the village between March 6 and 9.

Between 5pm on March 7 and 10am on March 10 gardening equipment and tools were stolen from a shed in The Street, Holywell Row.

A second shed in The Street, Holywell Row, was broken into and searched between March 9 and 10 but nothing was stolen.

Police have asked anyone with information about any of the crimes to contact PC Alan Kemp on 101.
