The family of a man who died after being hit by a van in Barningham last week have paid tribute to a ‘lovely kind generous man’.
Paul Bruce, 56, of Hopton Road, Barningham, died after he was struck by a Vauxhall van on the B111 near the junction of Chare Road on March 12.
Police were called shortly before 8pm by the ambulance service who were at the scene of the collision.
Sadly, Mr Bruce died at the scene.
Today, his family issued this tribute: “We are deeply shocked by Paul’s death.
“He was a lovely kind generous man and will be sadly missed by his parents Chris and Roy and brothers John, Tim and Kevin and step daughters Tracey and Vicky, and step son Mark.”
An inquest into the death of Mr Bruce will be held tomorrow at the Active Business Centre in Bury St Edmunds.
