A jeweller who specialises in custom made bespoke jewellery has relocated his family run business from Haverhill to Bury St Edmunds.
Tony Strowger, who creates handmade jewellery in silver, gold, platinum and palladium, has set up shop in St John’s Street after trading in Haverhill for about 12 years.
He said: “I’ve always liked Bury even though I’m Haverhill born and bred. We’ve got a very strong following but the majority of people shop in Bury anyway.”
Mr Strowger, who runs the business with wife Debby, says he can create rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets, bangles and broaches. The business also sells well known brands.
He started his career in 1976 and spent 16 years in South Africa where he learnt the bulk of his trade. He has also worked in America and with some of the top jewellers in East Anglia.
