The long arm of the law will don festive threads when staff at a firm of solicitors take part in an annual yuletide charity run.
Workers at Ashton KCJ, which has an office in Bury St Edmunds, are dusting off theircostumes for this year’s 2.5km Santa Run in the town in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).
After taking part in the event on numerous occasions, they are encouraging other businesses to follow their lead.
Alan Brown, partner and head of individual services at Ashton KCJ, said: “We’re delighted to support the amazing work of EACH in caring for local children with life threatening conditions and complex healthcare needs.
“We’ve supported the Santa Run in Bury for a number of years and our staff are always keen to don their Santa suits and get involved.
“We also have staff joining the Ipswich and Cambridge runs.”
The run starts and finishes at the arc shopping centre from 10am on Sunday November 25.
Organiser Nikki Brown added: “We’re delighted to have the support of Ashton KCJ this year and hope their participation inspires others to get involved.
“Local businesses are vital to the work of EACH with many Bury-based companies raising funds by taking part in events such as the Santa Run, holding their own fund-raising events or adopting EACH as their charity of the year.”
To sign up, visit www.each.org.uk/santaruns or call the fund-raising team on (01473) 237243.
Online entries close on November 23 and entrants can sign up on the day too.
