Dog stolen from back garden in Bury St Edmunds

Thieves stole a dog from a back garden, in Horsecroft Road, Bury St Edmunds, on Saturday.

A woman, accompanied by a teenage girl, was seen walking away with the miniature schnauzer on a lead after it was taken at about noon.

The dog was later found and has been returned to its owners.

The woman was in her mid-30s, about 5ft 5in tall, with dark brown/black shoulder length hair, wearing a blue polo shirt with white writing on the back and dark blue jeans while the girl was aged 13 to 14-years-old, about 5ft tall with blonde shoulder length hair and wearing a pink t-shirt/dress.
