A Thetford man who set himself on fire last year had a ‘disturbed’ mind, an inquest heard on Tuesday .

Paul James Aspinwall, 44, died in Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, on April 17 after being found alight outside flats in Walmington Court, Thetford.

In a narrative conclusion, Norfolk coroner Jacqueline Lake said: “Mr Aspinwall died as a result of his own actions whilst the balance of his mind was disturbed and whilst receiving treatment from the mental health services.”
