Disability charity in Bury St Edmunds needs volunteers to help with festive supermarket collection

Could you spare an hour or two to help a disability charity in Bury St Edmunds to raise some funds?

Charity Papworth Trust needs some volunteers to help out at a Christmas supermarket fund-raising collection on December 1.

All money raised will go towards helping local disabled people to whom the trust provides essential services and advice to, as well as their families and carers.

“We are looking for people who can spare an hour or two and help us collect some much needed funds,” said Andrea Chupacova, community fund-raiser at Papworth Trust.

The Trust’s supermarket collection will take place at Asda, in Western Way, Bury, from 9.30am-5pm on Saturday December 1.

“This is the first time we have held a supermarket collection in the Bury St Edmunds area and we are hoping that local people can help us to make it a really successful one,” said Ms Chupacova.
