A lorry fire on the A14 near Newmarket this morning caused delays to rush hour traffic.
The incident happened at around 5:30am on the westbound carriageway at Junction 37 near Rowley Mile services, around four miles from Newmarket.
Initally all three lanes were closed between Junctions 37 and 35. Police and a fire crew attended the scene.
Two lanes were reopened by 6:30am, but one lane remained closed until just before 9am while the road was cleared.
The lorry was carrying a sealed container with unknown contents, but the container is not believed to have been involved in the fire.
