A Debenham man who helped steal vehicles for use in a string of burglaries has been jailed.
Steven Allum, 28, of Henry Street, was caught when his DNA was found on the ignition of a vehicle.
On Tuesday, Allum and two other members of the same gang appeared at Ispwich Crown Court where they admitted conspiracy to commit burglary. The gang targeted rural businesses across Suffolk, Norfolk and North Essex stealing cash, cigarettes and anything they could convert into cash. Allum was jailed for four years while Alan Loveridge, 47, of Moorsfield, Great Cornard, received five years and Michael Smith, 29, of Mill Lane, Ellingham, received five and a half years.
