Mildenhall’s clubs and organisations showcased their variety and talent to shoppers in Market Place on Saturday.
There were 23 stalls organised by clubs including AFC Mildenhall, the Sea Cadets, Canine Magic, Probus and the Women’s Institute.
The groups were free to use their stalls in the best way possible to give an insight into what they do and encourage more people to join them.
Mildenhall parish councillor David Bowman said: “The whole day was very good.
“It’s to give people an idea of what clubs and organisations are out there and where.
“New people come into the area and understand what it’s about.”
The variety of stalls ranged from sporting groups, to Mildenhall Museum and the Friends of Mildenhall Library, to formal organisations such as Mildenhall Parish Council and the Community Partnership.
Clubs and Organisations Day was opened by the High Sheriff of Suffolk, Sir Edward Greenwell.
Sir Greenwall made a short speech welcoming people to the event before visiting each stall to speak about the clubs and organisations Mildenhall boasts
