A magazine is to be distributed on a Bury St Edmunds estate to help keep residents abreast of important issues.
The first edition of the quarterly magazine, being funded by the Howard Estate Association of Residents and Tenants (HEART), is being planned for June.
It will be distributed by volunteers to around 2,000 households on the Howard Estate.
Tom Murray, who will be editing the magazine, said: “It’s going to be an organ of the people, for the people, about people in our area.”
HEART chairman Ernie Broom said: “The most important thing is to keep the people informed. There are lots of things going on on the estate that people don’t know about, in particular we’re thinking about the community centre.”
“We’re a close-knit community but we can keep people informed so everybody has a chance to have a say,” he added.
