A new play area designed with input from pupils and parents of schools in Combs Ford has gained approval from the town council.
Stowmarket Town Council met on Wednesday to discuss the £60,000 refurbishment of the Lindsey Way play area.
Questionnaires had been sent out to pupils and parents of the primary and middle schools to find out what they would like to be included in the final plans.
Stowmarket Town Council clerk David Blackburn said the kids overwhelmingly requested a zip wire, a basket swing and a trampoline.
He said: “I am delighted the Lindsey Way play area is getting the go ahead. “This is part of an ongoing plan to refurbish all the town’s play areas.”
The play area has been funded with £20,000 coming from Viridor Waste Management.
