Explore the recently restored, 600-year-old, Mildenhall Warren Lodge at an open day on June 8 from 10am-4pm.

The open day will provide the opportunity to learn how rabbits were farmed and visit the Rex Graham Reserve to view the largest colony of military orchids in Britain.

The lodge had a new roof installed last year thanks to £80,000 in grants from English Heritage, the Forestry Commission and Forest Heath District Council.

The lodge is in Mildenhall Woods north of Fiveways roundabout on the A1065.

Take the minor road signposted Household Waste Site and park in the Forestry Commission car park. The lodge is a 10-minute walk up the hill.
