Charged with burglaries in Bury St Edmunds

A 22-year-old man from Bury St Edmunds has been charged with a series of burglary offences in the town.

Lee Perry, of Wollaston Close, appeared at Bury Magistrates’ Court last Thursday charged with three counts of burglary.

The alleged offences took place in Newmarket Road on July 21, Ipswich Court on July 27 and Hervey Road on August 3.

Perry was remanded in custody until his next court appearance at Ipswich Crown Court on August 19.

This followed the arrest of a 24-year-old man from Bury in connection with a burglary that took place in Ipswich Court, Bury, on July 27. He was bailed until September 10.
