Thousands flocked this year’s Weird and Wonderful Wood event in Wetherden at the weekend.

Visitors to Haughley Park were treated to a host of demonstrations, displays, stalls and workshops from more than 120 artists and crafts- people from across the country. The event, now in its 20th year, was bathed in sunshine.

Event coordinator Tarby Davenport said around 9,000 people visited the event over the weekend.

She said: “We had spoon-carving workshops, chainsaw carving, wood- turning, a cider press demonstration and much more.
“It was a great event with lots of really nice people – and the weather was superb.”
