Wilcrofts cafe bistro has achieved a maximum five stars in a food hygiene inspection, and been listed in the top ten places to eat in Bury St Edmunds.
“It is pretty rare to get five stars and this is our second inspection and the second time we have gained the maximum marks – so it is quite an achievement,” said Jason Hoyle who runs the Brentgovel Street business with his wife Sarah.
“The Environmental Health inspector spent two and a half hours checking our paperwork and seeing how we keep the place in order.
“It is fantastic from where we were seven years ago when we brought the business.
“We have developed the menu, introduced our style of cuisine. We have got an excellent team that we have built up over the last seven years.
“We are currently in the top ten on TripAdvisor for places to eat in Bury. This is a reward for all our hard work.”
