Business coaching firm in Bury St Edmunds is in line for national award

A business coaching firm in Bury St Edmunds has been shortlisted in the Best Franchise Awards.

ActionCOACH, founded in 2002, is shortlisted for best large franchisor.

The winners of the awards, which are sponsored by Lloyds TSB Commercial, will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday November 29 at The Best Franchise Conference in Oxfordshire.

The shortlisted franchisors were selected based on feedback from over 2,000 franchisees gathered through an industry-wide study of franchisee satisfaction. Categories include Best Growing Franchisor and Best Training and Support.

Ian Christelow, Managing Director at ActionCOACH, said: ““We are pleased that we have been shortlisted for the Best Franchise Award in the Large Franchise Category, which will help to raise the profile of Action Business Coaches and prompt more high calibre people to take a look at the ActionCOACH franchise opportunity.

“To be a finalist alongside McDonald’s and TaxAssist is a tremendous achievement only 10 years since our first UK ActionCOACH franchise partner started their business and I would like to thank all of our team for their skilled input, which has won this deserved recognition.”

Richard Holden, Head of Franchising at Lloyds TSB Commercial and sponsors of the awards initiative, said: “The UK franchise market continues to display strong growth, reflected in the shortlisted nominees, and plays a vital part to the UK economy. We’d like to wish all the finalists the best of luck.”

Steven Frost, Partner at Smith & Henderson, which coordinates the awards programme, said: “The shortlisted franchisors have the best franchisee support, franchise systems and ultimately, the best franchise opportunities in the UK – we should congratulate them for their achievements.”
