A new monthly youth forum will host its first meeting in Bury St Edmunds next week.
Toby Jeffrey, 16, a newly-elected member of Bury’s Youth Parliament, will chair the meeting.
He wants to encourage young people, aged from 11-18, to attend to ‘raise community issues’.
“We want to hear about anything that matters to young people and matters to them in the town,” said Toby.
One issue being discussed is GCSE results and how they affect young people’s opportunities in Bury.
The meeting will take place at the Southgate Community Centre in Caie Walk, Bury, from 7-9pm on Wednesday (September 3).
Norman Tebbit will be the first guest speaker.
