Oakes Barn, in St Andrew’s Street South, Bury St Edmunds, is hosting a fund-raiser from 8pm on Thursday at which Irish trio The Molly Maguires will perform.

The event is free to attend but money collected on the night will go to St Nicholas Hospice Care’s Hospice Neighbours, which offers practical support and companionship to people and their families living with life-shortening conditions.

The community-based, volunteer-led service is in need of male volunteers.
