Pupils from the Bury St Edmunds Academy Trust showcased their sports talents during a multi-skills festival to culminate a year of collaboration.
Fifty leaders in Year 10 ran the event at County Upper School with pupils from the all-through trust’s other schools choosing their sport.
The six schools in the trust have used the Government’s sports funding towards specialist coaches, an all-age extra curricular programme and twice weekly specialist teaching for primary pupils.
Each month’s teaching has focused on different sports and ended with festivals in those areas. It also enabled sports leaders to develop their skills.
Headteacher Vicky Neale said: “It was a great success and both leaders and participants were excellent.”
