Exhibitors are revving up for the return of the Cars and the Green and Bury Motor Show in Nowton Park, Bury St Edmunds, on Fathers’ Day, Sunday June 15.

Marriott Motor Group, which owns Bury St Edmunds Volkswagen and Audi, are this year’s main sponsors for the show organised by Bury Retro Car Club.

Last year the show attracted 800 cars and 3,500 visitors and over the past seven years has raised £13,000 for charity.

Club chairwoman Charlie Ruddock said: “We think it’s the biggest free car show in Suffolk.”

All Bury’s new-car dealerships have signed up for stands and are expected to show 100 new models, from Audis to Dacias.

The charities to benefits this year are Bury Scope, West Suffolk Hospital’s Rainbow Ward and the Scout Association.

Anyone wanting to exhibit old cars there will find entry forms at www.buryretrocarclub.co.uk
