Entries are coming in for the Bury Free Press Business Awards as the deadline to nominate West Suffolk’s leading lights approaches.

This is your chance to put forward those drivers of the area’s growing economy who you think deserve recognition - and nominations should be submitted by Wednesday, August 13, at 5pm.

A glittering awards evening will be held at The Apex, in Bury St Edmunds, on the Friday, October 10 hosted by broadcaster Penny Smith.

Mark Stanford, Anglia Newspapers events manager, said: “There’s still time to get your nominations in. We particularly would like people to send in entries for the Unsung Hero, Employee of the Year and the BID - Customer Service awards.”

The Unsung Hero is for a person who goes above and beyond the call of duty but never asks for any recognition or award.

The winning individual in the BID - Customer Service category will have been nominated by at least one customer and will have clearly demonstrated a consistently high level of customer care.

Nominees in the Employee of the Year are productive, exhibit commitment in carrying out job responsibilities and are an asset to the staff of their department.

To enter, visit bit.ly/bfpawards where you can download an application form or submit online. For more details contact Mark Stanford on 01553 817354. Like us on Facebook www.facebook.com/buryfreepress
