LIQUID handling technology specialists Redd&Whyte have announced a major new appointment.
Andrew Macdonald has been recruited as head of tech services for the biotech firm, as part of a wider restructurting of the company to broaden its customer base across Europe and North America.
The role will see Andrew take charge of the company’s service and support team.
It already offers industry leading services to laboratories, including signicificantly reducing the amount of ‘instrument down time’ by offering replacement products during periods of maintenance.

The past seven years has seen Andrew work as head of microarray technologies at Genesis Diagnostics.
There, he developed advanced technologies for diagnostic assays, as well as providing applications, customer support and training.
He has also worked at BioRobotic/Genomic Solutions as a global applications specialist and has held specialist and research positions across a range of clinical fields.
