I would like to thank Suffolk county councillor Paul Hopfensperger, for his outstanding achievement in swimming the Channel to raise money for St Nicholas 'Hospice and CLIC Sargent.

The dedication that Paul showed throughout his training and his determination to succeed is an inspiration to us all.

The staff, volunteers and patients are extremely grateful for his support and feel very privileged that we were one of his chosen charities.
