Area around station was left ungritted

I recently travelled to Bury and was surprised to see that the area outside the rail station, including the car park, hadn’t been gritted.

There is a bus stop not far away and usually routes taken by them are treated (they are here in Cambridge), so I wondered why this had been overlooked? Can any councillors reading this illuminate me? Obviously, the snow and ice will be gone now but it might help to clarify things for the future.
