All of our staff arrived, so why not the mail?
I was completely flabbergasted that the Post Office decided that it was too dangerous for their staff to deliver the mail to Bury town centre on Monday due to the weather!
It’s true, we had a smattering of snow, but all 19 of our staff arrived for work so why couldn’t they? We are a firm of chartered accountants and January is our busiest month of the year. We rely on post from our clients to do our work. I could not believe that a decision was taken to cancel all postal deliveries because of health and safety. It really isn’t good enough.
