‘Legal eagle’ to bring Magna Carta celebrations to a close

The Bury Society will host the last of the Magna Carta 800 Celebrations at St Edmundsbury Cathedral with guest speaker Lord Andrew Phillips.

Baron Phillips of Sudbury will give a small talk on Tuesday, October 28 at 7pm about the world-wide importance of the Magna Carta.

He is known as the ‘legal eagle’ through his stints giving legal advice on Radio Two’s Jimmy Young Show. He has also appeared on other TV and radio programmes such as ‘Any Questions?’ and ‘Newsnight’.
