A leading name in manufacturing has shown its support to its local community by donating a piece of kit.

Bosch makes lawnmowers and other garden equipment, including a cordless robotic mower fitted with an intelligent nativation system.

It exports its products, made in Stowmarket, around the World.

The firm decided to donate a pressure washer to Stowmarket Fire Station where Bosch team leader Jason Myers has been a retained firefighter for the past 17 years.

Graham Stokoe, head of business development for outdoor cleaning at Bosch, said: “The new professional high-pressure washers are proving to be a successful product range.

“Here at Bosch, we believe it is essential to support committed employees and the local community to improve the place in which we live and work.”

The pressure washer will be used by the Stowmarket fire crew to clean down their fire engine after each call out.
