Youngsters are real high-fliers
Children at a Thetford school are feeling bright and breezy after a painting competition.
Reception class pupils at Raleigh Infant School used their art skills for the competiton, which had a windy theme.
Sponsored by bakers Warburtons, the contest was aimed at encouraging creativity and promoting outdoor play.
All the children involved received a Warburtons mini-kite and judges named Jessica Lumley, four, the overall winner with her picture of herself flying a kite.
Teacher Erin French said: "The projects initiated by Warburtons always reflect a healthy, active lifestyle and this one was a great welcome back to school for the children, encouraging them to think about outdoor activities.
"They love their new mini-kites and will be keen to fly them outside in the playground."
James Button, Warburtons Thetford depot sales manager, said: "The competition was a great success and we were amazed by how creative the children were and how excited they all got about flying a kite.
"It's great to see youngsters enjoying the outdoors as opposed to watching TV or playing on computers."
