Whitsun Fayre back for more
THIS weekend will see an animal menagerie descend on Bury St Edmunds as the Whitsun Fayre returns.
Due to its success last year, organisers have decided to bring back the fayre’s mini farm, which will see pygmy goats, lambs and miniature pigs in the town centre.
Taking place on Sunday and Monday, the fayre will be centred on the Buttermarket and Cornhill areas.
Jackie Regan, organiser, said the Bid4Bury backed fayre was set to improve on last year’s effort.
“We had some wonderful feedback from visitors and member businesses who got involved in last year’s Whitsun Fayre so we hope to make this year’s an even bigger success,” she said.
The flower and plant market will also offer a range of stalls.
A World Market with a range of food, craft and gifts will be on show, while entertainment will be provided by magic tricks, face-painting and a stiltwalker.
