West Suffolk Hospital staff win accolades

Three West Suffolk Hospital staff members have been commended for their enthusiasm and commitment to their jobs.

Trudy Wright, patient affairs officer at the Bury St Edmunds hospital, received an Institute of Healthcare Management award in recognition of help she has given to bereaved families, while consultant anaesthetist Dr Neil Adams was awarded the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britian and Ireland's Charles King award for services to the history of anaesthetics.

Meanwhile, radiographer Nazira Ahmed, who has been shortlisted for the Society of Radiographers' Radiographer of the Year competition, will find out whether she has won the award in November.
