VIDEO: Taking a walk around town with Shakespeare . . .

The town centre took on a Shakespearean theme this afternoon, as a new Bury St Edmunds Festival event was premiered.

Groups left the Guildhall at 15-minute intervals for a picturesque walk around town with a difference. At almost every turn, actors popped out and performed appropriate Sonnets for group members' delectation.

The unusual promenade theatre production took around 90-minutes and engaged audiences' imagination and enthusiasm.

There are still a few slots available on tomorrow's walks - contact the box office on 01284 769505.
