Transport firm in Bury St Edmunds shifts weight to raise pounds

Bury St Edmunds firm Cross Country Carriers, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, has raised £741.73 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, after staff held a sponsored slimming contest.

The firm is one of more than 100 members in the Palletways UK network – Europe’s largest express pallet freight network.
