Three women attacked by two men

Police are appealing for witnesses after three women were attacked in Needham Market by two men.

The incident happened outside a hotel on Needham Market High Streetin the early hours of the morning on Sunday January 27.

The three women aged, 45, 42 and 23 years were leaving the hotel when they were assaulted by two men.

The 45-year-old woman sustained an injury to arm and leg, the 42-year-old woman sustained pain to her back and the 23-year-old woman sustained facial injuries.

Police have spoken to some witnesses who were in the area but are keen to speak to anyone else they have not yet spoken to who may have been in the area and witnessed the attack.

Two men were arrested near to the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm in relation to this incident. T

he men aged 20 and 19 from the Needham Market area were taken to the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre (PIC) for questioning and have been bailed pending further enquiries.

They are due to return to the PIC on February 13
