The following items have been taken from the Bury Free Press archives, from 1949.

Greenhouses from L S Thomas in Great Whelnetham cost £38 4s 11d.

Choc bars - chocolate coated ice cream bars - were available from The Ice Cream Shop in Guildhall Street, Bury St Edmunds, for 6d each.

W J Cook & Son, in Cornhill, Bury, was selling 8-pt stock pots for 5s 6d.
