Terror suspects thought to have been extradited to the US from RAF Mildenhall

CROWDS gathered outside RAF Mildenhall last night as rumours circulated that it was where five terror suspects would be extradited to the US.

Among those believed to have been flown from the base is radical cleric Abu Hamza who had his last-ditch attempt to fight extradition rejected by the High Court in London yesterday, along with Adel Abdul Bary, Khalid al-Fawwaz, Babar Ahmad and Syed Talha Ahsan.

Today a spokesman for RAF Mildenhall said it would be inappropriate for him to comment on decisions that were made outside the scope of the 100th Air Refuelling Wing.

“What I can tell you is that RAF Mildenhall airmen stand ready to perform any mission we’re called to support,” he said.
