STUDENTS will be able to learn about nature in the sunshine and practice their times tables with the wind in their hair following the completion of Lakenheath Primary School’s outdoor classroom.

After two years, lots of money, a court case, legal meetings and much sweat and tears Cllr Colin Noble was finally able to officially open the school’s new outdoor classroom last week.

The classroom will be used by teachers for lessons as well as by children during lunch and break times to shelter from the sun.

Headteacher Emma Vincent thanked the governing body, Friends of Lakenheath Community Primary and Cllr Noble for their donations, help and patience during the process.
