A group of students from West Suffolk College are releasing a Christmas EP to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The music students, who call themselves Unknown Artists, were given the task to create a musical product to raise money for a good cause.

Their EP, Fairy Lights, is due to go on sale in December - and each CD will be individually wrapped like a Christmas present.

Band member Luke Almond said: “It has been amazing the amount of support we have already received.

“We all play music and have all had our own bands – it is great to work with so many great musicians.

“But it is not about us, this is really about raising money for charity.

Singer Annie Williams said: “Cancer Research UK is such a good cause.

“We all have someone in our family or someone we know who has been affected by cancer.”

On November 15,

Unknown Artists are performing at the Bury St Edmunds Christmas Lights Switch on and then at the Hunter Club on December 15.

The band are:

Annie Williams - Lead vocals

Luke Almond - Keys

Jason Rampling - Vocals
